operated enterprise that has as its mission, and goal, to provide professional guidance and support to any outdoor ​enthusiasts that might be interested in navigating the waters of the Rio Grande River by the banks of historic Shelby Park, within the city of  Eagle Pass, Texas, Maverick County. 
 We provide the gear & safety equipment that will allow individuals to experience river recreational sports like canoeing and kayaking in a safe and professional manner.

My family and I have traversed the Texas southwest landscape taking on  beautiful waterways such as the Llano River, Guadalupe River, Colorado River, San Antonio River, Nueces River, Lady Bird Lake, Frio River, Amistad Reservoir, San Marcos River,  Devils River. The most exciting adventure was right in our back yard, the Rio Grande River. The beautiful twists and turns, the canyons, the carrizo, the wildlife, the birds, not to mention the huge fish, and the currents twist and turns and areas of rapids are quite invigorating.

The Rio Grande River has been the lifeline of this community since its incorporation in the mid 1800's. Eagle Pass and Maverick County has always benefited from the flow of the river, after all the Rio Grande is the only source of potable water that the city and the county use for their inhabitants. Furthermore, its waters flow through a series of irrigation canals that make this region a very fertile source for agriculture. Epi's Canoe & Kayak Team LLC seeks to deliver to its river canoe & kayak team members the experience of river sports recreation at a level never experienced before in this area. We hope to bring attention to various aspects of recreational water activities that our company would like to expose to the citizenry, visiting friends and tourists. So many potential activities exist that could be taken advantage of such as: canoeing, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, swimming, field trips for science, nature, geography, topography, history, environmental studies and so many more critical facets that a river offers.
